Rittenhouse Square Apartment
Presented with 3200 square feet of raw space in a Rittenhouse Square high rise, Wyant Architecture was asked to design an apartment suitable for both quiet living and frequent entertaining. Though remarkable for its size and views of the square, low ceilings and deep concrete structure presented significant design challenges. In response, coffered ceilings and soffits were proposed to maximize ceiling height and define space while facilitating infrastructure and utilities. Public zones are gracious and orient towards light and views, while private spaces are more contained and inward looking.
