Working within the confines of existing landscaping and circulation patterns, Wyant Architecture designed a new pavilion to provide amenities for recreation and entertaining adjacent to an existing pool. The pavilion was sited to shield the pool from a near-by street, and works jointly with existing buildings and a hedge of mature trees to capture space around the pool deck. Constructed in a palette of durable, natural materials selected to complement those of the existing house, the new structure anchors the pool deck to create a setting that is cohesive and connected to its surroundings.
